The Design Team

McQuay Architects

Designing custom homes in southern Utah since 2004, led today by Todd Benson, AIA, LEED AP. They know this terrain, the codes, and the light. For Vermillion that meant a single-story home that follows the grade, tucks into the rock, and keeps a low profile from every direction. In Kayenta, homes are meant to disappear into the land. This one does.

Baptiste Bohu Interiors — Paris / Hong Kong

Bohu mixes eras and influences in the same room: Art Deco, Moroccan riads, contemporary. The result feels collected over time, not bought all at once. Here that shows up in the handmade details: tadelakt plaster in every bath, artisanal cement tile, leathered granite and travertine that echo the desert outside. International design that actually belongs in this landscape. All of his pieces are included.

Kayenta, a dark sky community

Perched on the edge of Snow Canyon State Park in Ivins, Utah, Kayenta is a master-planned arts and conservation community unlike anything else in the Southwest.

Founded on the principle that architecture should belong to its landscape, every home in Kayenta is individually designed and reviewed to ensure it honors the surrounding geology — the same red Navajo sandstone that defines the American Southwest.

Kayenta

Dark-Sky Certified

Kayenta is one of the few communities in the Southwest with enforceable dark-sky lighting ordinances, making the Milky Way a nightly spectacle.

Arts Community

Home to more than 25 working artists, Kayenta hosts galleries, studios, and cultural events throughout the year in a setting of genuine creative community.

Conservation Reserve

Over 200 acres of preserved open desert surround the community. No commercial development is permitted within the reserve, ensuring the landscape remains intact.

5 Minutes to Amenities

Ivins City and St. George offer international airport service, world-class golf, medical centers, and every convenience — all within a short drive.
